Risen 1 Temple Walkthroughs: Preparing for the Lightning Temple

As you begin your journey in Risen 1, you'll soon find yourself facing off against Queen Gibdo in the Lightning Temple. But before diving into this early boss fight, there are a few essential tips and strategies to keep in mind.

Firstly, be sure to stock up on healing food before entering the temple. You'll want to have plenty of supplies to keep Riju healthy throughout the battle.

To start, use the Korok-frond guster found on the wall to blow away sand piles in the room. This will reveal a treasure chest containing a flame-emitter capsule. Don't forget to also hit the Gibdo nests outside the temple with Riju's electricity, but wait for them to be dark pink and pulsing before doing so.

When facing Queen Gibdo, use Riju's charged-up electricity to supplement your arrows at times. This will help you dodge her tornado attacks and keep the queen from getting too close. Be mindful of Riju taking hits from tornadoes, as this can break her charge.

Consider bringing a Zonai mirror or elemental fruit to aid in fighting Gibdos, which are weak to elemental attacks. Additionally, bring a ton of arrows and elemental weapons to help you take down Queen Gibdo and any other enemies you may encounter.

Finally, keep in mind that the Lightning Temple has a central teleport point, allowing you to freely enter and leave as needed.
